BOOKING & DEPOSIT POLICY

At The Alchemist we are having to charge a 50% non refundable deposit to secure your booking.

Walk in appointments may be available, but we advise booking. Our online booking system is continually being updated, which will show any on the day availability.

We will send out booking reminders by text message 48hrs prior to an appointment.

Your hair appointment at The Alchemist is reserved specifically for you. If you wish to cancel please notify us at least
48 hours in advance, so we can reschedule your appointment. If you contact us to reschedule your appointment prior to the 48 hour's notice, we will be happy to move the deposit to another suitable date. Deposits for appointments that are rescheduled within the 48 hour period will be used against the cost of the appointment lost.

Please note if cancellation is made within 24 hours' notice of a scheduled appointment, a full charge will be made and you will be asked to pay this before booking more services.

 

SALON POLICY
If you have symptoms of Covid-19, please do not come to the salon, instead telephone the salon as soon as possible so that we can reschedule your appointment.

For those of you who would prefer to visit us when the salon is quieter, or if you have any other concerns about the latest guidance and procedures, please do get in touch. 

ALLERGY/SKIN TEST

We require all guests at The Alchemist to have an allergy alert test (skin test) for any colour treatments no later than 48hrs prior to the appointment. It is the guest's responsibility to make sure they have been in for this test or the service may not go ahead and the deposit will be lost.

You do not need to book an appointment for a skin test, simply pop in salon within our opening hours, where you will be asked your name to confirm.

 

We do ask all new guests at The Alchemist to fill in our Consultation & Agreement form.

This is recognition of the treatments involved, skin testing confirmation and GDPR marketing.

 

MARKETING

We may from time to time contact you regarding salon news & marketing. This can all be opted out of by following a subsequent link.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE 

If you have recently visited The Alchemist and you are unhappy with our services please contact us within 7 days to in order to address this as quickly as possible. We do our upmost to achieve customer satisfaction.
